Laura L. Howes
Laura L. Howes is Professor of English at the University of Tennessee. She is the author of Chaucer’s Gardens and the Language of Convention (1997) as well as several essays on Chaucer’s poetry, Pearl, The Book of Margery Kempe, and other Middle English works. She is also the editor of Place, Space, and Landscape in Medieval Narrative (2007).
